We have been growing French beans under an annual contract with East African Growers Ltd, primarily for export.
West Rift Feeds and Foods Ltd produces, sorts, and grades the harvested produce before transporting it to the buyer’s pack house in Naivasha, Kenya.
Our target is to plant at least one hectare per week, on a rotational basis, with the aim of supplying 8 tonnes of fresh beans per week. Currently, we have 14 hectares under the crop at different stages of growth.
